Shocking: Police Arrests Herbalist and 3 Others for Beheading Man in Delta
A story involving two friends is making waves on the internet as the police apprehends a suspect and the full story unravels.
The story told by Abaniwonda( COP Delta Police) involves two friends; Paulinus Okon (the victim) and his very close friend (Efe Onoetiyi).
These two male friends, according to the victim’s brother, went out on 8/9/2024 but Paulinus never returned.
According to the story told to the press, Efe had returned at a later day to ask after his missing friend when the family confronted him stating that their brother, son and father had not returned after leaving with him the last time.
However, Efe blatantly denied knowing his friend’s where about. According to the story, Efe later returned after leaving that day to demand 5k of the family saying he would use it to consult a herbalist to find out where his friend was.
After that, Efe took the money and returned at a later date to tell the family that Paulinus was kidnapped, he was in contact with the kidnappers and they were demanding 20m+ to release him.
Meanwhile, his actions had already become suspicious so he was arrested and transferred on 28th of November 2024.
What Happened to Paulinus?
Efe and Paulinus had been friends for quite a while untill a recent time before Paulinus’ demise when he(Efe) came to him to advertise a house he saw for 30M naira.
Unsuspecting of anything, Paulinus paid his friend (Efe) the money in three installments to help him purchase the house.
Meanwhile, as Efe got the money, his intentions changed, he decided to use the money and establish himself by buying two lands and already started developing them.
Not knowing how to explain to his friend how he used his money, Efe resolved to killing him to ‘protect himself’
On the day Paulinus went missing, he had gone out with Efe, Sunday Ikpeba and a herbalist (Lawrence Joseph).
Apparently, Paulinus had been killed, his body thrown into the river and his head taken to the shrine where it was buried; Efe confessed this during his interrogation by the DPO Ekpan police station.
At his confession, the police marched to the shrine in Otokutu where Paulinus’ decomposed skull was exhumed.
This is such a case of “wetin man do man” .
Speaking to the press, the commissioner of police, Delta State command who happened to narrate the story said Efe was in custody.
