Popular Nollywood actress, Olaide Bakare is set to receive a Chieftaincy title in Osun state.

The actress announced this on Tuesday when she was speaking with reporters disclosing that she would be getting a title as the Aare Yeye-Oge of Ede Kingdom, on February 14th, 2025.

“February 14, which is the Valentine’s Day, will be the day I will be honoured with a chieftaincy title as the Aare Yeye-Oge of Ede Kingdom by Oba Munirudeen Lawal, Timi of Ede Kingdom,” she disclosed happily.

Expressing her excitement and gratitude, the Actress thanked his Royal Majesty, Oba Munirudeen Lawal for the honor and said she would be celebrating with her family revealing the venue for the ceremony at the Oba’s palace.

“I am so happy and I am really looking forward to it.

“I feel so good that my town deems it fit to honour me. This is not a title for the weak-minded, it is a position for the strong and influential  women in the society. I am really honoured.” She said.
