An X (twitter) user has announced that over 1,000 children in different parts of Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi state are not in school.
The user (@winexviv) twitted this on his personal handle clearly describing his statistics;
“Ibii Community -347 children, Amasiri-895 children, Akpoha-120, never-been-in-school-children-300” he analyzed.
Furthermore, Alex Onyia, the user, stated that he is on a data collection project and is hopeful for a great ‘Alaigbo'(Igbo land).
“In Afikpo LGA of Ebonyi state, we recorded 300 out-of-school children(they have never been to school) and 1362 children who were chased out of school. This is a total of 1662 out of school children.” He said
However, the people of Ebonyi state have showed their concern in the statistics calling on Ebonyi state Government to do something about this development.
