The Lagos state Government has warned that residents organizing events that involve noise should get a permit or stop such events.

Recall that: The Lords Chosen, Celestial Church and Other Establishments were Shut Down in Lagos Over Noise Pollution

Reaffirming this on his X account, Tokunbo Wahab,  the commissioner for environment and water resources advised organization leaders to own their environment.

Furthermore, the State government shared the same information on their X handle.

“Let’s work together to achieve a noiseless and peaceful Lagos” Wahab said.

Religious leaders, club managers, business owners, entertainment industries and other such organizations to use soundproof buildings and have their activities in secluded areas to avoid noise pollution.
