Oba Adeyeye, the Ooni of Ife Says Nigeria has no excuse/reason to be a poor country emphasizing on the potentials in cassava.
Laying his emphasis on farming, the monarch made his statement online on Monday commending the bold initiative of ‘Agbeyewa Farms’ for turning Ekiti state around with their innovative cassava farming as he visited the farms.
“Nigerians have always been wary of doing the hard part of Agriculture but it’s time we face the challenges because our nation depends on it. I’m taking it upon myself to be a major advocate for combating insecurity in Nigeria.” The monarch said making reference to the Agbeyewa’s farm.
Furthermore, Ooni of Ife implied in his statement that if Nigerians should pay attention to farming and take it serious as to fight the economic and food insecurity in the country.
