The Kastina state police command ha reportedly killed about 40 bandits and rescues 319 victims of kidnap and reunited them with their families.

Killed bandits were said to have been terrorizing the communities in the state.

At the Kastina state police’s maiden-end of the year celebration and award giving ceremony, the command’s commissioner of police, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, stated this.

“Our diligent work had also led to the arrest of 89 suspected motor vehicle thieves and the recovery of over 27 vehicles and motorcycles.” The commissioner said.

Going further in his statement, Mr Aliyu mentioned that the police had arrested over 199 armed robbers, charged 23 major drug dealers to court .

Additionally, he mentioned a lot other achievements of the command in the state.

Presenting awards to deserving stakeholders and men and officers of the command, he made mention that the achievements of the command is as a result of coordination of efforts and sharing intelligence.
