NLC Rejects Tinubu’s Tax Reform Bills
The Nigerian Labor Congress has on Tuesday, rejected the tax reform bills presented to the national asse by the president Tinubu.
This is coming after the Northern Elders Expressed Displeasure Over Tinubu’s Insistence on Tax Bills.
Expressing their concern for the government to prioritize the citizen’s welfare and address the issue of high cost of living, the union presented this in their new year message.
However, the president of the union-Joe Ajero, mentioned that of such thing we’re to be in law, it has to be based on collaboration with stakeholders.
In the statement with the title; “In 2025, hope is in our collective resolve” the president stated the need for citizens to be prioritized.
Furthermore, the union stressed on the need for compliance with the new minimum wage of 2024.
