In a statement on Friday, the Borno State Government has banned the operation of tricycles, generator mechanics and Street Hawking around Maiduguri.
Presenting the statement was the Borno State urban planning and development general manager; Liman Mustapha who said the ban was with respect to the Borno State urban planning and development law, 2002.
Furthermore, the manager said that anyone who fell in this category would have to vacate their occupied sites with immediate effect.
Also, he added that others must comply with this ban so as to avoid legal actions on them.
