Two Young Ladies Nabbed by NDLEA for Producing Drug-Laced Cakes for Students and Others in Kwara State

A 24-year old fresh graduate of the university of llorin-Khadijat Abdulraheem has been arrested by the NDLEA officials for lacing student’s cakes with drugs.

However, she was arrested alongside another female, 20-year old Ayomide Morakinyo of the same institute.

In the statement released of the arrest which happened on 29th of December 2024, 42 pieces of drug laced cup cakes were recovered from the girls’ apartment during investigation.

“In Kwara State, a fresh graduate Khadijat Abdulraheem 24, and a 20-year old student of the university of llorin, Ayomide Morakinyo, were on Sunday 29th December 2024 arrested by NDLEA operatives at Tanke-university of llorin road, Oke Odo, llorin based on credible intelligence that they were producing and selling drug laced cupcakes to students in the community. When their apartment was searched, 42 pieces of drug laced cupcakes were recovered from them.”

Femi Babafemi, director media and advocacy, signed the statement and released it on Sunday, 5th of January, 2025.

Furthermore, the statement contained that the popular drug kingpin, nollywood filmmaker has been arrested over huge illicit drug shipment.

“Operatives of the NDLEA started the new year with the arrest of a wanted drug kingpin and Lagos socialite,  Alhaja Aishat Feyisara Ajoke Elediye on 1st January 2025 in her mansion at Okota area of Lagos following the interception of a truck load illicit drug  consignment from her staff same day.” The statement read.
