Hon. Tajudeen Bright Alade, Executive Chairman, Akoko-Edo LG Council and his Vice have been impeached by the council’s Legislative Arm, Newsmax Nigeria reports.
The leader of the House(Legislative Arm), Hon. Alabliss Oshionogue, has been sworn-in as the Acting Chairman of the Akoko-Edo council.
All former appointees of the impeached council chairman and his vice have been dissolved with immediate effect.
A committee on asset recovery has been set-up to recover all government vehicles in the possession of the erstwhile leaders
