A sex worker in Adamawa state identified as Riyanatu Musa, has been arrested by the police for stabbing a bar man over a N200 debt.

The suspect who is said to be 32 years old, killed the bar man identified as Yohanna Musa over a N200 which she owed him.

According to the report by the Adamawa State police command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, Riyanatu confessed to the crime and said she regretted her action.

“She confessed to the crime and said she had bought big Ben and Yahoo(liquors) from the barman and paid N1,500 while her money remained N200 which she promised to pay off the next day. Somehow an argument ensued and she stabbed the barman in the chest with a knife and he died.” He said

An eye witness also made a statement confirming the incident while the culprit said she wasn’t intoxicated like people were saying she was but she let her anger get the best of her.

Furthermore, Nguroje said the culprit has been arrested and is in custody pleading for pardon.
