President Tinubu Extends Palliative Support to SUG Presidents Across Nigeria

The able president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has extended his benevolence by distributing Palliative supper to SUG presidents across all the states in Nigeria.

Previously, the president had promised the Student Union Government Presidents across all 36 states in the country including FCT.

The distribution took place on Tuesday at the office of the student engagement’s special adviser to the president, Asefon Sunday.

“The palliative is a part of the president’s support to students and the community” Asefon said in his speech while distribution he rice .

Furthermore, Asefon commended Tinubu and called him a president who understands that students are good leaders of today too and not only tomorrow.

He also gave details of the rice, it’s arrival and distribution saying that it arrived on 28th of December, 2024 but was shared in 2025.

“The president gave them rice but unfortunately, it arrived very late in Abuja, around December 28th last year, so this year we decided to call them to Abuja so that we could personally hand them over the rice. We selected two SUG presidents from each zone to represent them and manage the distribution of the palliative” he narrated in details.

Speaking further, Asefon said that president Tinubu is the first to remember student leaders and stakeholders in December.

“The students and youths of this country are now feeling the presence of the Government and experiencing its impact” he said.

Meanwhile, the SUG president of Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, represented the others and spoke through Asefon thanking the president and everyone else who took part in the palliative support. He also said they’re looking forward to more.
