The Ocha Brigade enforcement team of Anambra State has reportedly shut down Happiness Guest House, Amawbia, Awka south LGA, Anambra state.

Notably, this operation was following an intelligence report of the illegal crimes aided by the operation of the people in the motel.

According to the report, the motel houser sex workers, drug dealers, and other criminals.

Also, their activities which led to the shut down and arrest includes; under age sex trafficking, drug trafficking, prostitution and other criminal activities.

So, the ‘Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra’ did the work of shutting down the building and arresting its inhabitants.

Speaking on the report, Chief Celestine Anere, the MS/SG of the team said that they would make sure that those behind the operation are arrested and prosecuted.

He also mentioned about others who may be running the same or any kind of illegal business in the state, urging them to desist before they are also brought to book.
