Sunday Omisakin who was number 8 on the list of ex-convicts who were granted state pardon by Osun state Governor -Adeleke, on 24th December has been Re-arrested for stealing a plasma television.
This decision was reached in a chief magistrate court sitting in Osogbo. He was remanded in llesa correctional centre.
Apparently, Omisakin had been earlier arrested for simple offense but he was pardoned by the state government including two others who were sentenced for armed robbery, and stealing of fowl.

However, he was arrested again for breaking into the house of one Shittu Damilare on 3rd January, 2025 and stealing his plasma television which is worth about N600,000.
The claim was on two counts of breaking in and stealing a plasma television which he was found guilty of.
According to the statement of his arrest, Adebayo Omisakin Sunday was said to have committed the offense against and punishable under section 411(1)(2) of criminal code cap 34 vol.II. Also, contrary to section 383 and punishable under 390(9) of criminal code cap 34, vol.II laws of the state.
However, while in court on 7th January 2025, the culprit applied for a bail meanwhile the magistrate in charge of the case-Adeyeba adjourned the case to 10th of the same month on which he declined the application.
