A woman who claims to be the biological sister of the Catholic Rev. Father who recently dumbed his priesthood to get married to his heartbeat in Dallas, has come out to clear the air on why he took such decision.

Recall that a Catholic church in Warri recently suspended one of its priests over a secret marriage in the USA.

Note that the church shared her decision on the matter with he general public in a statement signed by the bishop of Warri, Rt. Rev Anthony Ovayero with the date, 16th January 2025.

However, a woman has come out to clear the air on why the Rev. Father took that decision and decided to drop his oath of celibacy.

Mary Okanatotor who left a comment over the reports, on social media attributed her brother’s decision to ‘loneliness’.

“Thank you all for the comments, the said priest is my brother and it was the best decision for him.”

Mary further stated that her brother had a mental health issue for a long time saying he couldn’t deal with the loneliness.

“We his family  are not with him to give him support physically. Thank you for your encouraging words”.

Meanwhile, Father Oghenerukevwe has beings priest in the Catholic church since 2008 untill his decision.

“He who finds a wife, finds a good thing” Mary said.
