A staff of the Audit department of the Federal medical centre, Idi-aba Abeokuta, Ogun state —Oluwaseyi Adeniji has allegedly killed himself in Obantoko.
The deceased had allegedly jumped into a well around the aforementioned area in Abeokuta after dinner, on Sunday, just a month before his child’s wedding.
However, the the head of public relations department of the hospital, Dr Segun Orisajo confirmed the tragic news and said Adeniji’s death is under questionable circumstances.
The reason for killing himself is still unknown. Meanwhile, someone who spoke to the newsmen about the incident alleged that the deceased had been battling some mental health issues and was treated.
However, while the members and fellow staff of the hospital where the deceased worked are reacting and giving testimonies of his personality and saying why he shouldn’t have died, the state police spokesperson is yet t react and make a statement about the incident.
