Victor Osimhen, popular super eagles striker has been accused of assaulting a journalist in Turkey for ‘filming him’.

The Nigerian player who currently stars in Galatasaray was reported by Turkish media outlet posta who said the incident happened at the exit of the entertainment venue where Osimhen and his friend had gone, in Turkey.

Following the report, Osimhen had reacted aggressively towards the journalist whose only offense, allegedly, was filming him.

“I was filming Osimhen as he exited, accompanied by three colleagues. When the camera flutter flashes stopped he became furious. He rushed towards me shouting, and attempted to grab my camera. When I refused to let go, he punched me, it still hurts.” Tolga Bozduman, the said journalist recounted the incident.

Furthermore, he said that the Super striker had offered him money in the middle of the altercation to destroy the photos which he turned down and he in turn said he’d destroy him(the journalist).

However, contrary to the accusation, both parties are yet to make an official statement concerning the issue.
