Ebonyi State Social media space is currently on fire over alleged 200 million naira contract scam by an Aide to Ebonyi State Governor.
On Tuesday evening, the allegations were all over the Ebonyi Social media space accusing the aide (name withheld) of being arrested by the Police.
The accusation which first appeared on the Facebook page of Itumo Palm-tree Ndubuisi, a Radio presenter had accused the Governor’s aide of being detained three days on the order of the Governor.
Meanwhile, when Newmax Nigeria called the Honourable Commissioner for Information in the State, Engr Jude Chikadibia Okpor, he said he is not aware of the arrest.
According to him, “I’m not aware of such an arrest please,” he said.
