Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has appointed Prof. Michael Ugota Awoke as the Vice Chancellor of Ebonyi State University.

To work with him in the University are:

Prof. Ike Elechi Ogba – Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics.
Prof. Micahel Ajanwachukwu – Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration.
Mrs. Ugochinyere Mba Uka – Registrar.
Mrs. Roseline Nwuzor – Bursar.
Dr. Mrs. Victoria C. Nwali – Librarian.

Their swearing-in will be on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, to assume their offices on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Prof. Michael Ugota Awoke was a Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Ebonyi State. He has as well held the position of Director, Work and Study Programme (WASP), Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.

Many congratulations, Prof. Awoke and all others that have been appointed in various capacities.
