Nigeria’s Telecom Operator, MTN has issued an apology to the network subscribers over a recent data hike by 200% which caused an outrage.
The recent MTN data hike insinuated that subscribers had to pay N6,000 for 15GB as against the initial N2,000 charge for same value.
However, on Thursday, MTN shared an informal post on social media acknowledging the discontent and frustration the hike decision has caused its customers.
“To our 15G digital bundle lovers. You dey vex. We know. We know how upsetting it must have been to suddenly wake up to a 200% increase on your favourite digital bundle.
“We could share several reasons, and provide explanations, but omo, all that one na story. We don cast. We get it and admit it. Let’s just say na mistake,” the message read.
