Herbert Wigwe: 90-Year Old Father Takes 26-Year Old Granddaughter To Court Over Properties of The Late CEO
The battle over the assets of Late access bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe who died in a auto crash alongside his wife and child, has continued raging even one year after his death. Pastor Shyngle Wigwe who had earlier declared interest in the bequest of the late CEO’s children and moved to strip them off their inheritance, as of October 2024.
However, the family denied doing anything of sort when the news casted.
Meanwhile, one Chukwuka Christian Wigwe who claims to be a cousin of the deceased CEO filed a caveat against the Late CEO’s daughter for the properties Herbert left behind. This caveat was filed on behalf of 90-year old pastor Shyngle Wigwe, father of the late CEO.
On the other hand, the family had debunked the news that they sued the daughter over the properties of the late CEO. However, the surfacing of the caveat filed at the Probate Registry challenging the distribution of the late banker’s Estate as contained in his Will made the family especially pastor Shyngle Wigwe (the father) to take back their denials saying they had withdrawn the suit.
“we have withdrawn the suit. Our concern was the welfare of the children,” they said in a statement.
However, the court ruling today as reported by the media has proven that they lied about the suit withdrawal.
As it stands, the late CEO’s family including his father are fighting the only surviving child, Miss Otutochi Channel Wigwe who’s just 26 years old over the distribution of his estates against what is contained in his will.
