The legal representative of Nedu Wazobia has served the social media critique-verydarkman, popularly known as VDM, a notice for Defamation over alleged NGO fraud.
According to the media personality, VDM who shared the development on his Instagram page, Nedu’s legal representative sent him a dm bearing the letter.
Recall that VDM had called NEDU and some others of the Honest Bunch Podcast out for an NGO fraud where they collected N60m out of a total of N85m for a project.
The said NGO had planned on providing full scholarships to 1,000 underprivileged Nigerian students for over two years (£10,000 per student), to grant them access to quality education without interruptions of fees and others.
However, according to VDM, they did none of the things they promised the NGO, no billboards, no influencers were hired, etc.
Therefore, VDM had called them out for fraud based on that which has been a lingering issue.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, notified the general public of the lawsuit stating that he is not moved and would not hesitate appearing in court if that is what Nedu wanted.

“Alright, so, the legal team of Nedu has sent me legal letter so, it looks like we have been charged to court…” The media personality said.
He read a part of the letter; “I’m the legal representation of Mr Nedu and Talkingdrumz. This is a pre-action notice for the defamatory statements Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VDM has made against them..”
The letter also stated that VDM had to choose between options which they listed as; a retraction of every video involving Nedu on every one of VDM’s platforms within 24 hours of receiving the notice; a public apology published on all of his platforms; and the sum of ₦500m for the damage caused to Nedu’s reputation, or he would be facing a lawsuit.
VDM who showed no atom of remorse for his actions expressed confidence and assured Nedu and his team that he is ready to meet them in court.
