Akpabio Wanted To Have Sex With My Wife, Senator Natasha – Husband Reveals Shocking Details

The husband of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, High Chief Emmanuel, has confirmed the allegations of sexual advances toward his wife by Senate President Godswill Akpabio as true.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Emmanuel maintained that Akpabio had turned a deaf ear even after he personally confronted him and asked him to desist from sexually harassing his wife.

Akpabio And Natasha

Nigeria’s political climate was thrown into confusion last Friday after Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan claimed on national television that Senate President Godswill Akpabio made sexual advances toward her.

She maintained that her refusal to yield to consistent sexual advances from the Senate President, both within and outside the country, was the cause of her victimization in the Senate, hence the recent sitting arrangement saga during its plenary.

She alleged that most of the intimate calls from Akpabio come in the dead of night and that she usually wakes her husband and puts the conversations on speaker.

Akpabio has remained silent over the allegation, while former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Saturday advised Mr. Akpabio to submit himself for an open investigation to ensure fairness and transparency in resolving the matter.

Chief Emmanuel revealed that his wife, Natasha, had confided in him about her interactions with the Senate President, adding that he was shocked to his bone marrow that Akpabio’s sexual advances toward his wife continued unabated despite being a family friend.

“My wife has confided in me about her interactions with the Senate President, whom I considered a family friend.

“In response, I approached the matter with the utmost maturity and responsibility, as it is my duty as a traditional leader who has immense respect for constituted authority and upholds core family values to foster peace and harmony.

“I met with the Senate President and respectfully urged him to extend the courtesy and respect my wife deserves while also honoring the friendship between us. We reached an understanding and agreed to resolve the issue amicably,” he said.

Chief Emmanuel stressed that his wife continued to endure Akpabio’s constant harassment despite his warning to the Senate President that he would never trade her for any price.
“However, despite this agreement, my wife continued to express concerns about the harassment she has endured from the Senate President.

“I have unwavering faith in my wife’s loyalty and am fully committed to our marriage, which is grounded in love, compassion, and mutual respect. I would never trade her for anything, as she is the greatest joy of my life.

“I now respectfully urge the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Senate President to treat my beloved wife with the respect and dignity she truly deserves while the relevant authorities and the court determine the underlying issues,” he stated.

Already, the wife of the Senate President, Mrs. Unoma Godswill Akpabio, has filed multiple lawsuits against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, while the latter insisted that the Senate President should be allowed to defend himself.

The legal actions stem from statements allegedly made by Akpoti-Uduaghan during a televised interview on Arise News, which Akpabio claims were defamatory and violated her fundamental rights.

In the fundamental rights lawsuit (Suit No: CV/814/25), Mrs. Akpabio argues that statements made by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan on the Senate floor on February 20, 2025, and later on Arise News, infringed on her rights under the Nigerian Constitution and international human rights laws.
