At a Kaduna Customary court on Tuesday under judge John Dauda, 37-year-old Linda Stephen has demanded to divorce her husband, Felix Stephen, says his sex demands are high.

In her petition, Mrs. Stephen stated that her husband of six years involves violence anytime she objected to his sexual demands.

She further said that her husband, when the urge comes, doesn’t know how to control himself.

“I urge the court to dissolve this marriage because I can’t stand his excessive sexual urge. He likes sex too much, and I can’t bear it.

*Most times, he would have sex with me from midnight till early hours of the morning. Even when I am crying, he will not stop.

“It has been three months since I moved out of his house, his relatives have been pleading with me to go back to him, but they do not know what I am facing,” the complainant said.

However, in his defence, Me. Stephen said he is still very much in love with his wife and asked the court to help him beg her stating that he is ready to control his urge now.

“I took my uncles and friends to her parents house to plead with her. But she refused to listen to us instead she walked out on us,” he said.

However, Judge Dauda adjourned the case till 6th may, urged them to maintain peace and reconcile.
