Senate Delegates Pay Condolence Visit to Edwin Clark’s Family
The Senate has provided delegates to pay condolence visit to late Ijaw leader and elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark’s family who died at 97 on February 17th, 2025.
During the plenary on Tuesday, the Senate’s Deputy President, Jibrin Barau, after 1 minute of silence to honor the dead, stated that Abba Moro, the senate Minority leader would lead the delegation on the visit.
Other members of the delegation include; Senators Shehu Umar (APC-Bauchi), Victor Umeh (LP-Anambra), Simon Lalong (APC-Plateau) Ede Dafinone (APC-Delta), Ipalibo Banigo (PDP-Rivers), Buhari Abdulfatai (APC-Oyo), Ned Nwoko (APC-Delta), Kawu Sumaila (NNPP-Kano) and Joel-Onowakpo Thomas (APC- Delta).
