Some angry Nigerians have unraveled the past records of the founder of KaaTruths, Kelvin Chimaobi Emmanuel, aka KAA, where he was accused of defrauding people of over 15 Million naira in Ebonyi State and ran away to Abuja.
Recall that Mr Kelvin Chimaobi who is the founder of KaaTruths recently held a podcast where he accused Pastor Uche Ume of engaging in fake Miracles in Ebonyi State and Abia State, an accusation which the pastor has denied.

According to the Podcast spotted by Newsmax Nigeria, Mr KAA said in quote, “His name is—I don’t know whether we will call him prophet, pastor or head reverend. His name is Reverend Uche Ume… the one you know, the one that sings and the Holy Ghost come down…”
“There is nobody close to me that he hasn’t called, begging me to forgive him. But what he needs is to stop the staged miracles, false prophecies, and extortion.”
“He is manipulating poor people in Ebonyi State, collecting money from children and their mothers.”
“You’ve been ruining people’s lives with your so-called nonsense miracles and fake prophecies in Ebonyi, Aba, and other places.”
“Do you know how many people may have lost their lives because of you?” Mr KAA said in podcast.
Following the podcast, Nigerians have unraveled Mr KAA past records where he was accused of being a serial Fraudster.
In one of the posts shared by a Nigerian Blogger, Promise Uzoma Okoro shows a throwback post on Nairaland in 2021 accusing Mr KAA of being a Fraudster.
According to the post, “Kelvin Chimaobi Emmanuel AKA Kel Armstrong Amobi is an internet fraudster and a well known scammer who fled from Abakaliki to Abuja in the month of April earlier this year. He started by frustrating his boss Mr Obaco by burning down his car and duping him just because of his level of greed and not even mindful of the way the boss has been so nice to Him which the whole residents of Udemuzua street, Abakaliki of Ebonyi State knew of.”
“As if that was not enough, he proceeded by connecting himself to a man of God named Dr Okey Zoe of Zoe generation int’l ministries and introduced a fake money earning platform called Ashmancash which he used to dupe people connected to Dr Zoe of over 15 million naira using “Ponzi scheme”. Kel Armstrong ran away to Abuja with money from a lot of poor people who thought they could earn more by investing In his scam business, he even duped a disabled widow named Mrs Chioma Egwu of over 500 thousand Naira and her 3 children are presently out of school.”
” He fled to Abuja in the month of April and presently scams people on Facebook by posting a fake Google business which so many of his friends on Facebook have fallen victims to, he also has so many fake facebook accounts that claim his business is genuine and he blocks anyone who questions the integrity of his mischevious and swindle Ponzi schemes.”
“Please guys be warned and beware of this Fraudster whose facebook username is”Kel Armstrong Amobi”, a manhunt is on for him by residents of Ebonyi State which he scammed and please share so that more people won’t fall victims to his business tricks. ”
” Below are his pictures just to identity the fraudster in case he attempts to defraud more people”, the post read.
Also, the Blogger, Promise Uzoma Okoro accused Mr KAA of trying to defraud the Pastor. He said, Mr KAA wanted 10 million naira from the Pastor which he refused.
According to him, “KAA, Stop Running—Your Studio Was Never Attacked”.
“Kel Armstrong Amobi (KAA), stop the theatrics. Your latest claim that your studio was attacked is nothing but another round of your well-known “arrangee” tactics—this time, designed to divert public attention as legal actions close in.”
“It’s no coincidence that the moment the matter escalated to court, you suddenly cry foul, alleging an attack on your studio. If your studio was genuinely attacked, where’s the police report? And even if it were, every serious content creator has backups of their files. So where is the so-called “evidence” you’ve been parading?. ”
“Let it be known that this diversion won’t work. The time is fast approaching for you to produce the malicious evidence you claimed to have. And trust me, the public is watching.”
“I am officially inviting credible journalists and bloggers to Abuja soon for a media briefing—where we will present facts, timelines, and verified details regarding this entire episode and your baseless allegations against Rev. Dr. Uche Ume.”
“If this entire saga was simply a desperate attempt to gain clout and content using Rev. Ume’s name, then you will be held fully accountable.”
“Enough of the lies. Face the truth.”
Meanwhile, Counsel to Rev. Uche Ume has issued 48-Hour Ultimatum to Mr KAA, demanding retraction of defamatory videos.
In a decisive move to clear the air and set the record straight, the Senior Pastor of Power World Ministries International, Rev. Dr. Uche Ume, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Mr. Kel Armstrong Amobi, host and producer of the KAATalks Podcast. The demand: a full and public retraction of defamatory statements made against him in videos posted on social media between April 8th and 9th, 2025.
Through his legal counsel, Barr. Maxwell Opara (PhD) of Maxwell Opara & Associates (Chibunna Chambers), Abuja, Rev. Ume is also demanding that Mr. Amobi publicly acknowledge that the claims made in the said videos were false, misleading, and malicious.
“Recall that on the 8th and 9th of April 2025, you made several defamatory statements against Rev. Uche Ume,” the legal notice states.
Among the statements flagged as defamatory are the following:
• “His name is—I don’t know whether we will call him prophet, pastor or head reverend. His name is Reverend Uche Ume… the one you know, the one that sings and the Holy Ghost come down…”
• “There is nobody close to me that he hasn’t called, begging me to forgive him. But what he needs is to stop the staged miracles, false prophecies, and extortion.”
• “He is manipulating poor people in Ebonyi State, collecting money from children and their mothers.”
• “You’ve been ruining people’s lives with your so-called nonsense miracles and fake prophecies in Ebonyi, Aba, and other places.”
• “Do you know how many people may have lost their lives because of you?”
Rev. Ume’s legal team asserts that these statements are not only unfounded but have caused significant harm to his personal and ministerial reputation.
Accordingly, the following demands have been made:
1. An immediate retraction of all defamatory content across all platforms where the videos were posted.
2. A formal and unconditional apology, acknowledging the falsehoods and the harm caused.
3. A public clarification that the allegations were baseless and made in error.
“Failure to comply within 48 hours upon receipt of this letter will leave us with no option but to explore all legal remedies available to protect our client’s name and reputation,” the statement concluded.
