The Ekiti State police command has taken into custody, an officer who stabbed a civilian over an arguement involving the victim’s son and his girlfriend.

Sharing the incident on X, the daughter of the victim said her father was stabbed because her brother and the officer’s son had an arguement.

“He went on to stab my dad with his fellow police officer because his girlfriend was arguing with my brother at school. They went to our house to deal with my brother, but on getting there, they didn’t meet my brother; they met my dad and elder brother,” the lady said.

Meanwhile, the state’s police command has promised to thoroughly investigate the case and make sure justice is served.

This incident happened in Ise-Ekiti.
