Tinubu to Return After Easter, Managing Nigeria From Abroad – Presidency
The office of the president has revealed that President Tinubu’s return to Nigeria is not untill after Easter. It said the president is still active in managing affairs of the country even while abroad.
Special Adviser to the president on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on Thursday, explained that the president has been contacting with key officials and giving directions to security operatives to address the threat in some parts of the country.
The president who travelled from Paris to London at the weekend, is expected to return to Nigeria after the Easter celebration — according to the presidency who said his travel is still within the two weeks time frame that was given to him.
“The President’s commitment to his duties remains unwavering, and his administration continues to function effectively under his leadership.
“The President left Paris for London at the weekend and has maintained constant communication with key government officials, overseeing critical national matters, including directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country.
“His return to Abuja and the resumption of duties at Aso Villa will follow the conclusion of the Easter holiday,” the statement read.
Onanuga also urged the general public to remain patient and appreciated all for the concern noting that the president’s activity has been going on even while abroad.
