Shettima Was Not Denied Entry To Presidential Villa – Presidency Debunks

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications — office of the Vice-President, Stanley Nkwocha, has debunked news that vice president Shettima was denied entry into the presidential villa.

In his state on Saturday, Nkwocha said the news is false and deliberate to mislead the public.

In Abuja, he said the office of the vice president is being threatened and the recent publication is malicious.

This is following a recent news that armed officers ‘bounced’ Shettima from entering the presidential villa, recently.

“These mischievous and totally fabricated reports are all in a bid to cause confusion and insinuate total clash in the presidency.

“These reports seek to mislead the public into believing there’s discord at the highest levels of government,” he said.

He also recounted how similar fake news was circulating once with poster bearing Tinubu’s image.

“These fairy tales they publish serve no purpose beyond mischief and distraction,” he stated.

The presidency lauded the general public who have remained steadfast and trusted Tinubu’s administration and that of his deputy.

He also noted that Shettima does not have time for fake news and no such thing would shake “such democratic mandate”.

Nkwocha maintained that nothing can happen to Shettima under Tinubu’s watch.
