Nigerian politician and human Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore has lamented that evil people in Nigeria do not get to pay for their sins only good people do.
In his statement, he said all his life, all the bad men he knew has lived while the good ones die everyday.
“There is no consequence for doing evil in Nigeria. In fact, the only consequence we have here is against those who do good, not those who do evil.
“All the evil men I have known since I was born have lasted longer than the good people. They don’t die. They have built the best mansions, driven the nicest cars. They lived the best lives.
“But, every weekend, you always hear news of the death of a good man; the guy who didn’t take a bribe when he was in Customs has died. The policeman who rejected gratification was kicked out into homelessness, and then he died miserably. The teacher who did his work diligently had died,” he said.
Sowore mentioned the likes of some evil presidents who would not die instead; military generals who don’t believe in the Country they are governing and teachers who engage in malpractice.
