Jigawa Gov. Begs Newly Sworn in Corp Members Not to Relocate From State

At the swearing-in of about 1,900 corps members of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 held on Friday, the state Governor —Umar Namadi, urged members to feel at home.

The event held at the Gen. Yakubu Gowon NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Fanisau, Dutse.

Represented by the Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Isa Chamo, the Governor in his open remark promised corp members that Jigawa state will serve as a home for them and urged them not to relocate to another state even after their camp period is over.

“No positive contribution considered can be considered too small or insignificant in confronting the great challenges presently before us as a people,” he said.
