S’East Youths Demand Public Apology From Isah to Seyi Tinubu Over Claims of Assault

The South East Youth Stakeholders Council has demanded a public apology from the president of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Atiku Isah — over allegations that Seyi Tinubu assaulted him.

The council issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the NANs president describing what happened as ‘persistent blackmail and misinformation’ against president Tinubu’s son –Seyi.

Earlier, Isah had alleged that Seyi had sent his loyal thugs after him — during the students’ inauguration event in Abuja — where he was assaulted, alongside several other attendees as the thugs made away with items.

He linked the incident to a previous occasion where he claims that Seyi Tinubu and the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande —had offered him N100M bribe to promote president Tinubu — Seyi’s father.

However, in the turn of event — Seyi denied all claims and stated that he has never met Isah on personal levels or anything related.

In a Saturday statement signed by the chairman of the South East Youths council, Eric Uwakwe — he said the claims against Seyi was meant to bring shame to the number one family of the country.

Issuing a Stern warning against keeping them waiting and/or testing their patience – the body said Isah is to tender a public apology to Seyi for his act which, according to them —was an impersonation of a respected body. They threatened a heavy protest by the youths should their warning be taken for granted or ignored completely.

The council has also threatened a heavy protest by the youths should their warning be taken for granted or ignored completely — accusing Isah of propaganda campaign to tarnish Seyi’s image.

“The Southeast youths have watched with dismay the shameful theatrics and dance of shame by one Atiku Isah.

“We are giving Comrade Isah 48 hours to apologize to Seyi Tinubu and the Youth Minister for the grievous allegations levelled against them or face a massive protest from various youths.

“We stand in full solidarity with Seyi Tinubu and will resist any attempt to tarnish his image. If this Nazi-styled propaganda is meant to stop him, it’s already too late — that ship has sailed,” the statement read.

They also pledged support to Tinubu come 2027 – if he decides to compete in Lagos Governorship election; promising to purchase his form.
