Natasha Sparks Controversy of Possible Defection As She Praises Tinubu
The suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has sparked reactions with a video of herself vibing to a song praising president Tinubu.
Posting a 15 minutes video of herself dancing to a track by popular Kano musician, Dauda Kahutu, also known as Rarara, on Saturday, on TikTok — Natasha has sparked controversy of an imminent defection.
The senator would be seen giggling and repeatedly playing the Yoruba song titled “Asiwaju Omo Ologo(Asiwaju the glorious child)” which the singer performed at a dinner event held in Katsina during the president’s official visit.
This development has left many confused as to whether the lawmaker plans to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
Natasha was suspended on 6th march over a dispute between she and Senate president Godswill Akpabio following a new seating arrangement which she disagreed on.
The war which lingered for a while led to the lawmaker alleging that Akpabio had made sexual advances at her.
After a while, Natasha would publish a satirical apology letter to Akpabio asking for forgiveness for not agreeing to trade her dignity.
However, in a recent development, Akpabio would petition the court to mandate Natasha to delete the post on her social media page and tender a public apology which he demanded would be published with two popular newspapers.
