Nigeria’s former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja — has said that the nation’s leaders are not finished with their works, yet.
During the book launch of former Jigawa State Governor and one-time minister of foreign affairs — Sule Lamido’s autobiography titled “Being True to Myself”, Obasanjo made this statement.
The former president encouraged leaders to not retire yet untill their work is completely done.
“Nigeria that we are working for, we haven’t gotten there. And I believe it is the responsibility of each of us to ensure that we get there.
“Our job is not finished until we are finished,” he said.
The public presentation is currently ongoing at the NAF conference centre, Abuja.
