CEO Gifts Immigration Officer Who Arrested Ezeani N1M For His Competence

The President of Ugwumba Leadership Center, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has gifted N1m to Immigration Officer Prince Orji Ugochukwu who caught Ezeani while he tried to flee the country.

According to Maria Ude Nwachi, who said the money was sent to her to gift the officer on Friday evening, Ugwumba did so to encourage officer Prince on his competence and gallantry.

She also noted that the beneficiary had been fully credited as he thanked the kind gifter.

“In Ugwumba’s words; This gift is to appreciate Officer Prince Orji Ugochukwu for the role he played in the arrest of the kingpin Ezeani and for refusing the mouth-watering offer of 10 million naira and an iPhone from the suspect,” Maria wrote on her social media page.

Recall that the Immigration Officer, Prince Orji Ugochukwu, had revealed how he caught the fleeing Ezeani, AKA Ichie Billion, E dey play E dey show, the rit@ualist who buried several victims alive in a soakaway in his compound in Umumba, Ezeagu, Enugu at the immigration office.

According to him, Ezeani who was exposed after his team of ritualists tried to kidnap a 13-year old girl, had offered him 10m to free him and an iPhone, after he caught him. This was after Ezeani had denied all allegations against him claiming that it was his brother that they wanted and not him.

In another turn, Ezeani claimed that he is just an okirika seller (second hand clothes) who is meant to become the next king of his village but his village people plotted the ritual scene to stop him.

Ezeani’s accomplices have been caught as the immigration Officers have already handed him over to the police.

However, on Thursday, some students of a comprehensive secondary school in Ezeagu had gone to the demolished house of the suspect after a body of one of their students who had gone missing just a week ago, was found among those buried alive in Ezeani’s compound.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
