Iran has debunked Trump’s report that a ceasefire agreement was reached between it and Israel after weeks of war.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi in a post on his verified account stated that Tehran will only stop its retaliatory attacks on Israel if only the later country would end what he described as “illegal aggression.”

He wrote; “As Iran has repeatedly made clear, Israel launched this war on Iran, not the other way around.

“At this moment, there is NO agreement on any ceasefire or halt to military operations. However, if the Israeli regime ends its illegal aggression against the Iranian people by 4 a.m., Tehran time, we will have no reason to continue our response. A final decision regarding the cessation of our military actions will be made subsequently.”

At the time of reporting this, Israel has not made any public statement regarding the ceasefire claims.
