Igbo Group Raises N495M in 30 Minutes For Charity (Photos)
A prominent Igbo Social Club,De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF), a coalition of 207 distinguished billionaires from the Igboland, on Saturday 5th July ,2025 converged for their extraordinary general meeting at the iconic Acropolis Gardens and Residence, Okija, Anambra State .
The event was presided over by the National President, Imperial Super High Chief Darlington Nwabunike (Ogbaluaku n’anwu na Ojoto), Eze Nwakaibeya, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire and galvanize the Igbo elites towards a common purpose “Living for Humanity”.
At the event Over, Over N495million naira was raised within just 30 minutes during the meeting.
The fund which exceeded their initial plan of N50 Million would be used to support underprivileged patients across various healthcare facilities in Anambra and other parts of the Southeast.
The group immediately disbursed N26.5 million naira to settle hospital bills for over 37 indigent patients in Anambra.
According to the national president, Dr Darlington Nwabunike, the same initiative will be replicated in the remaining four southeastern states to ensure that the most vulnerable receive critical medical care without financial burden.
Similarly, the group approved scholarship package for 700 scholarship deserving students across the five Southeastern states.
Plans were unveiled to construct and fully equip five modern school blocks, one each in every southeastern states to provide conducive learning environments that will transform public education standards in Igboland.
