It Will Take Decades For Nigerians To Appreciate Tinubu's Value - Keyamo

All Handshakes, Agreements Made for Betterment of Nigeria – Tinubu Defends Trips

President Bola Tinubu has clarified that every handshake and agreement made on his foreign trips is for the success and prosperity of Nigeria.

This is following the president’s recent trips to Japan and Brazil which he said were centred on unlocking opportunities that will drive growth and create jobs for Nigerians.

Shortly after returning from a 10-day bilateral engagement in Brazil, Japan and a brief visit to Los Angeles, United States, the president defended his travels in a post on X.

He stated; “Every handshake, every agreement, and every meeting is guided by one goal: to secure opportunities that translate into growth, jobs, and prosperity for Nigerians.”

According to the president, Nigeria deepened ties in Japan that would attract investments in industry, technology, and human capital.

He added; “In Japan, we deepened ties that will bring new investments in industry, technology, and human capital. In Brazil, we advanced partnerships in trade, agriculture, aviation, and finance.

“This is the new Nigeria we are building together, a Nigeria built on sustainable reforms that will outlast us rather than one built on rhetoric.”

Similarly, while in Brazil, Tinubu stated that he forged partnerships that would aid Nigeria’s trade, agriculture, aviation, and finance and strengthen confidence in the nation’s economy.
