Minister of Youths Donates Cow to NYSC Members in Awka
The Minister of Youth and Development, Ayodele Olawande, on Tuesday, paid a brief visit to the National Youth Service Corps Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Olawande was received by the NYSC Anambra State Coordinator, Pauline Ojisua and he interacted with corps members of the 2025 Batch B Stream II, during the visit.
According to him, his trip would not have been complete without meeting the corps members as he was around for a project inspection.
He also described the corps members as the pride and strength of the nation.
In his remarks, the minister said, “We commend the corps members for their discipline, patriotism, and dedication to national development through the NYSC scheme.
”We urged you to continue being exemplary ambassadors of unity and service wherever they are posted.”
Olawande was accompanied by the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba.
He thanked the state coordinator, camp officials, and corps members for their warm reception as he donated a cow to the corps member ahead of their upcoming camp carnival on Saturday.
“As a gesture of goodwill, I donate a cow to you ahead of your upcoming camp carnival celebration on Saturday,” he added.
