A young social media critic from Ezzagu in Ebonyi state, Cyprial Onyebuchi Ukpabi has been arrested following comments he made about an Honorable of the state.

On Monday, Ukpabi had posted on his Facebook handle revealing that he had been arrested by Inyaba Development Centre Coordinator, Hon. Prince Chukwudi Nweze.

“Cypriel got arrested at iyanitera garage Thiago hostel by prince Chukwudi Nweze..” he wrote.

Apparently, the young critic was arrested in his Lago resident and moved down to Ebonyi state.

When contacted this morning by our correspondent, Hon. Nweze confirmed the development stating that he had to go that length because he needed Ukpabi to provide evidences of the allegations he made against him.

According to Nweze, “He said I’m a killer so I need him to prove all the negative things he has been saying against me.”

While some followers and close friends are condemning the arrest, Nweze is insisting that Ukpabi must prove everything he has alleged against him or else he would spend more time in detention.

However, after much plea and negotiations with our correspondent, Nweze agreed to discuss details and a way out later.
