A yet to be identified man has been allegedly beaten to unconsciousness by suspected touts Close to Speedway Filling Station in Abakaliki, the capital city of Ebonyi state, on Monday.

According to an eyewitness, Eunice Chukwu, the man was beaten by the touts for a yet unknown reason.

In the video, the man who looks to be middle aged was seen lying at the front of the yellow bus unconscious as passersby were gathered trying to find help.

According to the report at the time, the victim has already been rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (Fetha 2).

Efforts to reach the state police by our correspondent for a statement proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
