“Who Wan Marry Woman Wey No Well?” – Pastor Chris Okafor Stylishly Replies Actress Doris Ogala
In a dramatic escalation of a long-standing feud, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly accused Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry (also known as Liberation City), of betrayal after a video of his engagement proposal to another woman surfaced online in December 2025.
The saga reignited on December 13, 2025, when Ogala posted emotional videos on social media, tearfully claiming she had been in an intimate relationship with the clergyman since 2017. She alleged that they had sexual relations, that she suffered a miscarriage (which she claims he misrepresented as an abortion and shared privately), and that he shared her nude photos and videos without consent. Doris further stated that the pastor had begged her to leave a brief marriage she entered during their alleged affair, and she complied. She linked ongoing emotional trauma to him, including the death of her younger brother over a disputed financial matter, and vowed that his upcoming marriage would not proceed, declaring, “You will kill me first before you can make this marriage work.”

Reports emerged that same day indicating Doris was hospitalized after an alleged self-harm attempt amid the distress, with videos showing bloodstained sheets and bandaged arms as concerned individuals rushed her for medical care.
This is not the first public clash between the two. Doris has previously accused Pastor Okafor of financial impropriety, claiming in 2024 that he owed her millions of naira from funds entrusted to him. Earlier allegations in 2025 also touched on intimate relations.
On December 14, 2025, during a Sunday service, Pastor Chris Okafor appeared to indirectly address the accusations without naming Doris. In a viral clip from the sermon, he criticized arrogant and disrespectful behavior in young unmarried women, saying: “You are just being arrogant to people, talking to people anyhow, you say ‘I no dey respect anybody o, I no well’. Yet you’re a young lady, you’re not married na you dey talk like that. Which man wan marry who no well? Which man wan marry you when they know you have slept with different men? God forbid!”
The remarks were widely interpreted on social media as a subtle response explaining why he would not marry someone fitting that description. Neither party has issued a formal statement beyond these public outbursts, and the pastor has historically remained silent on similar past claims, with church sources previously dismissing them as unfounded.
The incident has sparked intense online debate, with mixed reactions ranging from sympathy for Doris’ emotional state to criticism of both parties involved. As of now, the controversy continues to trend across Nigerian social media platforms.
