BREAKING!!! Hon. Prince Uburu Emerges “2025 Local Government Chairman Of The Year”

The Chairman of Ebonyi Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Chinedu Uburu has emerged “2025 Local Government Chairman Of the Year”.

Hon. Uburu polled 9,234 votes, emerging tops among nominees following a highly competitive public voting process that reflected widespread appreciation for his contributions in infrastructure development of Ebonyi Local Government Area.

The Ebonyi Leadership Excellence Award is an annual platform that celebrates individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and impact across public and private sectors in the state.

Organisers noted that the strong voter turnout and overwhelming support he received underscored public trust in his work and relevance in the current administration.

Some of the projects completed by the Hon. Uburu include ;

1. Construction of a modern secretariat complex at ugbodo.

2. Development of critical infrastructure, such as the 2.8-kilometer concrete road from Onyirigbo to Egwudinagu.

3. Rural electrification projects, illuminating homes and livelihoods in over ten villages.

4. Installation of 300KVA transformers, powering communities and fostering economic growth.

5. Countless acts of humanitarian service, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being of his people.

6. Restoration of peace in troubled villages, settling age-old crises, and assisting in the installation of village leadership to ensure peace is maintained.

8. Construction of Health center at Oroke Onuoha

9. ⁠construction of 6 classrooms blocks with office at Onyirigbo Ishieke.

10. ⁠Construction of over 40 culverts

12. Provision of mobility: a Seina bus and 100 motorcycles to local security agencies to boost the security architecture of the communities.

14. Purchase of writing materials which were shared to primary and secondary school students.

15. Construction of 3 bed room apartment for the less privileged.

16. Sponsoring medical surgery for downtrodden patients who were trapped in the hospital.

17. Yearly payments of fees of students from Ebonyi LGA going for their law school

18. ⁠ Trained thereafter empowered over 50 Ebonyi youths in various skill acquisitions.
