The acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Iliya Damagum, has clarified that the PDP is not shocked that former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar resigned.
According to him, Atiku is known for jumping parties since he joined politics and the PDP is expecting his return.
Damagum disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on Friday in Bauchi.
Stating that “it is not the first time, we’re expecting him back,” the acting national chairman said the PDP was already used to Atiku leaving and returning at will.
According to him, the party was clam about the development because it was is confident that Atiku’s permanence in decision is not proven yet.
