FRSC Senior Officer, Teenage Daughter Goes Missing – Police Raise Alarm
The police in Ogun state has declared a senior officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her teenage daughter, Sewa Lasisi, missing.
This was contained in a Friday statement by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola.
Odutola stated that both mother and daughter were reported missing after they left their residence in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday and never returned.
39-year old Oluwamayokun, a Superintendent Route Commander, is a fourth-level senior operational officer in the FRSC hierarchy, responsible for overseeing multiple routes and coordinating strategic enforcement operations.
According to the police, efforts by family members and colleagues to reach the her and her daughter on their mobile phones have been unsuccessful.
The statement read in part, “The Ogun State Police Command is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating one SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a 38-year-old female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Abeokuta Unit, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing.
“The report was lodged at Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, by a Federal Road Safety Officer serving in Abeokuta, in the company of the victims’ family members.
“According to the report, the officer and her daughter left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, and have not returned home since then. All efforts to reach them on the phone have proved abortive.”
Odutola further added that the state Commissioner of Police ordered an immediate and thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding their disappearance and ensure their safe return.
The command appealed to anyone with useful information about their whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.
It assured that all information received will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
