An Open Letter to Nyesom Wike: His Arrogance Has Gone Too Far
An Open Letter to Nyesom Wike: His Arrogance Has Gone Too Far
Written By: Awuzie Frankline✍️
Mr. Wike, Your arrogance is getting out of hand. You walk around as if this country belongs to you, as if public office made you a god among men. But let me remind you: you are nothing without the public funds you’ve squandered and the power you abuse. Everything you flaunt today belongs to the same Nigerians you trample on.
Your recent attitude toward that young soldier says everything about the kind of leadership mentality destroying this nation. That soldier did nothing wrong,he acted under orders, as every disciplined officer should. But instead of respecting that, you tried to intimidate him, to force him to disobey his superior just to satisfy your bloated ego.

In a sane country, a man like you would be facing justice, not holding office. But in Nigeria, impunity is rewarded, and arrogance is mistaken for strength. When that soldier told you he was acting under instruction, a reasonable leader would have walked away and sought proper channels to resolve the issue. You, instead, chose to flex false power.
You think this nation revolves around you, that your money and influence make you untouchable. But remember, history has buried greater men who thought the same. Power fades, and truth never dies.
You owe that soldier and every uniformed man and woman who serves with integrity an apology. Because your behavior was not just shameful; it was a disgrace to the very idea of leadership.
Enough is enough. Nigeria does not belong to you.
