A popular folk musician in Ebonyi State, Elobe Egbara popularly known as New Elebe has diēd.

Our Correspondent learnt of his demise via his co- entertainer, Saint Olubu.

Elobe until his demise did quite number of songs in his Izzi dialect on various themes, some of which he embellished with folk tales. He was also a member of Ebonyi State Arts and culture through which he etched his name on gold.

Just recently, the Ebonyi State government under Governor Nwifuru built him a house in appreciation of his invaluable contributions.
