The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mr. Sani Musa Daura as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters.

The development was disclosed on Wednesday in a statement issued by the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

According to the statement, Daura is a highly experienced civil servant who has spent more than three decades serving in the FCTA Protocol Department.

He was appointed Director of FCT Protocol in 2019 and is scheduled to formally exit the civil service on January 24, 2026. The statement added that his new role will commence immediately after his retirement.
