VDM: Hospital Denies Reports Linking King Mitchy’s Alleged Death to Its Abuja Facility

Prime Care Hospitals has refuted widespread social media claims that popular content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, known online as King Mitchy, died at its Abuja facility.

The denial follows viral posts allegedly shared by the influencer’s management team, which claimed she passed away after being rushed to a hospital in Abuja due to complications from ingesting a harmful substance during a live broadcast.

In a statement published on its official Instagram page on Saturday, the hospital described the reports as false, insisting that King Mitchy was never admitted to its facility.

According to the management, “The announcement alleging that Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, died at our hospital in Abuja is entirely untrue. She was not a patient at our facility and did not pass away here.”

The hospital added that it has begun steps to trace the origin of the information and may pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading what it termed misinformation. It also urged the public to rely only on verified updates from its official communication channels.

The controversy erupted hours earlier after a post appeared on King Mitchy’s verified social media page announcing her death. The statement suggested that she had been taken to a hospital in Abuja where medical personnel reportedly attempted to save her life but were unsuccessful.

The post further appealed to members of the public for assistance and expressed grief over her alleged passing, sparking emotional reactions from fans across multiple platforms.

However, as of the time this report was filed, there has been no independent confirmation from family members, medical authorities, or law enforcement agencies regarding the influencer’s status.

The conflicting accounts have left supporters uncertain, with many calling for clarity amid the growing speculation online.
