A barrister from Onicha Igboeze, Ebonyi state has reportedly been in the Naval custody since 10th of September, 2024.

According to the report which was shared on Facebook by Gloria Worlu, Barr Kelvin Okorie is a member of the NBA.

She wrote;

Barr Kelvin was invited for a meeting on the 10th of September 2024 by the Navy at Iwofe aker base Port Harcourt he didn’t come back that day.”

She went further narrate how Barr Kelvin called his wife the next day to inform her that he was coming home with Naval officials.

However, he never showed up neither was he reachable untill the day ended.

“On the 12th, his wife went to naval office herself. They told her to go to the police station and report that he’s missing. She said NO, that her husband told her he was in their custody.
They sent her away.” She said

Interestingly, Barr Kelvin called  his wife with another Naval officer’s number informing her that he had been held at the Navy.

After the call, the wife took food to him without even seeing him but spoke with him somehow.

“It went on and on till His community wrote a letter to the NBA that their son is in Naval custody.”

Going further in her narration, the poster said that human rights advocates and NBA members already went to ask after Barr Kelvin but the Naval denied knowing his where about.

One Mr Eko leaked to the wife that Barr Kelvin had been transferred to Abuja but reason for the Naval holding him in custody is yet unknown and his actual location.

The grieving wife and mother seeks capable Nigerians to come to her aid in finding her husband. Pleads for the Naval to provide her husband.
